Admissions

Westwood Christian School does not discriminate in student admission or services on the basis of race, color, or ethnicity.  A child must be in the appropriate age for the class he/she is applying for on or before September 1st.  For instance, a student entering K-3 must be three years old on or before September 1st of that year. The child must also be potty trained and able to use the restroom independently.

Students are admitted on the basis of available space and submission of required documentation.  Admission is also decided by student interviews. Interviews take place in May and June. When classes are full, prospective students are placed on a waiting list and are called as space becomes available. All new admissions are on a probationary basis for the first grading period.

Enrollment for New Students

WELCOME!

NEW Students may apply between

April 1 and April 30, 2026.

Siblings of current students may apply between

March 1 and April 30, 2026.

Our classroom space is limited, and many classes fill quickly.  Students are not accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.  A $25 non-refundable Application fee for NEW Students is due before the Application will be reviewed. Once classes are full, WCS keeps a waiting list of all applicants with completed requirements.

Each new student will be interviewed once WCS has received all the required records.  Families of new students will be contacted in May or June to schedule the interview.

----------------

HOME-SCHOOL STUDENTS

The Home-School Proof of Completion Form must be completed in detail at the time the application is turned in. All Home-School applicants must show proof of standardized testing from the previous school year or take a standardized test before the interview process. This will be at a cost of $15.00 for materials and scoring, which will be due at the time of testing. A time will be scheduled before the interview if this is needed.
